Built on land that was part of a colonial plantation, Green Spring, the plantation was home of Sir William Berkeley, Royal Governor of the Virginia colony. During the civil war, the house was torched by union troops. Thus, today, the brick foundation of the mansion now rests beneath ground that is included on the National Register of Historic Places. This listing is for a 2 bedroom one week rental from May 23rd to May 30th, 2008 only. Actual unit may differ slightly from pictures due to resort updates and/or changes. No tour of the property is required. Upon purchase of this vacation rental, some forms are required to be signed. The price listed is the final price. There are no hidden fees or taxes. Upon arrival, the resort does charge a $2/day city of Williamsburg occupancy tax. Travel insurance also available. Please contact me if you have any questions. Photo identification is required at check in along with major credit card. Check out time is levied by the resort and must be strictly adhered to. Occupant(s) is responsible for any damages and charges incurred by occupant or occupant’s party. Pets are not permitted. Any legal proceeding of any nature brought by either party against the other to enforce any right or obligation under this Agreement, or arising out of any matter pertaining to this Agreement, shall be submitted for trial, without jury, before the state or federal courts located in James City County, Virginia. The parties consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of any such court and agree to accept service of process outside the state of Virginia in any matter to be submitted to any such court pursuant hereto, and expressly waive all rights to trial by jury regarding any such matter.
