It does NOT convert voltage but rather only provides 5 different plug configurations to use as needed when traveling abroad. Select the proper adapter on the Geoplug, plug it into the supply outlet, then plug your voltage compatible device (or voltage converter) into the Geoplug receptacle. Instruction sheet is included (includes a country applicability list). Unused condition in a damaged and open box. Tested and working 100%. Again, this does not convert voltage - it just provides an all-in-one way to carry 5 different plug adapters.  It is a very nifty device.
