Louis Bichot a Mirecourt C.2002 - Mint Condition!!!
Place a bid
We are proud to offer you this fantastic french violin labeled Louis Bichot a Mirecourt. This violin has been made in 2002 in France. The violin is suitable for professional, soloist use. It is one of the finest sounding violins I have had. I have had over 1000 violins in the past years and this is certainly one of the best for tone quality, timbre and power.
The tone of this violin is unique. The extraordinary combination of bottomless power and huge volume with a thick, fat, dark molasses sonority of tone puts this violin in a class by itself. I don't know if I have ever heard a violin that better combines power and rich, velvety depth like this one does for a modern violin, normally found on old violins. The raw energy, super dynamics and complex layers of rich colors are the elements that make this a professional violin. The violin develops immediate cascades of intense overtones, building and ringing with presence and sustain. This violin has the brawn and muscle to be heard above any orchestra or band, but without sounding penetrating or shrill, just luxuriant enveloping waves of power and depth. If you want a rich, dark, but profound and elegant, with the power to be heard, this violin will not disappoint. This violin is professionally setup with Aubert à Mirecourt bridge and Pirastro Tonica strings!
I have included many detailed photos intended to be representative and revealing. Please look them over carefully and feel welcome to ask any questions.
There seem to not have been repaired cracks and no damages in need of repair. Vanish and wood are in pristine condition! There have been no repairs to the soundpost area and no repairs to the back, ribs or scroll. This violin has been well played and very well maintained in last years.
